The new ALU XT hardware system
The entirely novel ALU XT hardware with its innovative operating rod technology is setting new standards in production. Irrespective of the window dimension it gets on with a maximum of five operating rods and makes it possible to easily insert additional locking points or accessories without machining the operating rod any further. The ALU XT is designed for fast production and stands for optimised production processes and a revolutionary easy installation with flexible assembly sequence as well as self-positioning components which reliably compensate for tolerances.
ALU 90° opening restrictor
The new ALU 90° opening restrictor protects the sash and hinge side against improper use and damage: it limits the turn-opening width of the sash to 90°, thus preventing it from bumping against the reveal or against furnishings. To achieve this, the sash is attenuated before reaching the 90° position and then effortlessly moved to the end position. The locked end position prevents unwanted shutting in the event of a draught. The innovative solution is not only durable and easy to use, but it is also extremely robust, as confirmed by successful testing in accordance with DOEB guidelines. Simple to install and requiring zero maintenance, the new ALU opening restrictor is suitable for use with both surface-mounted and concealed hinge sides now also in turn-only and turn and tilt aluminium windows.
