The new ALU XT hardware system stands as a symbol of a new generation which raises the concept of operating rod technology to the next level. With its simple but innovative installation it's setting new standards and considerably reducing the complexity and fitting time in production. Irrespective of the window dimension, five operating rods, which can be brought to the desired length by saw cut or a simple straight cut to length, are enough. What's more, an ancillary slot integrated in the operating rod makes it possible to easily insert additional locking points or accessory components – all without needing to process the operating rod any further.
Fast – self-positioning components that compensate for tolerances.
The self-positioning hardware components ensure time and cost benefits by being able to be secured with just a flick of the wrist thanks to new types of locking elements. With the innovative coupling points the hardware components can be connected to the operating rod not just with ease, they compensate for cutting tolerances of up to 4 mm for each individual operating rod element too. What's more, the choice between coupling plates with/without standard or RC locking cam provides additional flexibility.
Easy – revolutionarily easy hardware installation with flexible assembly sequence.
The installation of the hardware is as intuitive as it is easy: the operating rods and hardware components are swung into the fittings groove without any tools – all without the customary opening of the operating rod channel. The sequence in which the hardware components are integrated into the sash profile can be flexibly adapted to the existing sequences as well. Locking points and additional parts can be very easily inserted into the ancillary slot of the operating rod and freely positioned. This technology also makes it possible to subsequently integrate a host of accessory components and to easily retrofit to higher security levels, without the element having to be removed. The new hardware system is impressive thanks to its efficiency because only two tools are needed for the entire installation, many components can be inserted reversibly and the coupling and locking mechanism always remains the same.
