We review all our working and production processes with a clear focus on sustainability, are prudent in our handling of resources and mindful of our impact on the environment, and actively help to protect the environment and mitigate climate change. 

At the trade fair stand you'll actually be able to experience sustainable strategies and activities. This means that at a sustainability station of their own visitors will receive detailed insights into climate protection, resource efficiency and closed-loop economy. Expert contact persons will be available there for face-to-face discussions, explanations and enquiries.

Our commitment to climate protection extends to our entire product range, too. That's why we look at the entire product life cycle – from research and development to production, right through to recycling and demolition. To implement a closed-loop economy successfully, from our perspective, close collaboration within the supply chain is also required. This is why we participate with conviction in cooperative projects like ID4Win or the "Windows in Circular Construction" project.

We take a systematic approach at the product level, too. As one of the first companies in the industry we're demonstrating our commitment to sustainability with custom EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations). As compared to industry standard EPDs with generic values, these reveal definitely lower emission values for our solutions. The EPDs are created by ift Rosenheim as an accredited scheme administrator. Since then, we've published 16 EPDs which, in part, cover complex products. In the motor function sector we're currently among the few providers, in ventilation technology among the pioneers with custom EPDs.

Responsible, sustainable action also includes the realms of compliance and social commitment. We as a company are consistently making sure to adhere to all statutory provisions, regulatory requirements and internal policies and have created for these purposes a globally applicable code of conduct and supplemental compliance directives.
